These terms apply to enrolment in courses offered by Tanganyika School of Art and Design (TASAD), a Giselle Brands company.

Enrolment

• Submitting the enrolment form is a request for a place. Your place is confirmed once our admissions team contacts you and the required payment is received.
• Class sizes are limited; places are allocated in order of confirmed payment.

Fees & payment

• Fees are listed in Tanzanian shillings (TZS). Launch prices apply to the intakes stated on the website and may change for later intakes.
• Fees may be paid in full or in two instalments: 60% before the first class and 40% before the midpoint of the course, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• Only pay using the official payment details shared by TASAD admissions. TASAD will never ask you to pay into a personal account through an unofficial message.

Refunds & transfers

• Full refund if you withdraw 7 or more days before the course start date.
• 50% refund if you withdraw within 7 days of the start date and before the second class.
• No refunds after the second class, but you may transfer once to a later intake of the same course.
• If TASAD cancels or postpones a course, you may choose a full refund or a transfer.

Attendance & certificates

Certificates of completion are awarded to students who attend at least 80% of classes and submit the final project.

Student work

You own the work you create. TASAD may showcase student projects on its website and social media with credit; tell us in writing if you prefer we don't.

Conduct

We expect respectful behaviour towards mentors and classmates. TASAD may remove a student for serious misconduct without refund.
